Introducing a new British and American partnership in lighting.

From a relationship that started in a cab in Dallas, January 2009, a new partnership comes to fruition in the fall of 2016. Joining forces are Elstead Lighting from the UK and Flambeau Lighting of New Orleans, to create a new business “Lucas + McKearn”. As the name suggests, the partners are Joe McKearn, who has been the well renowned leader at Flambeau Lighting of New Orleans and Jonathan & Deborah Lucas, the British husband and wife team that run their near 50 year old lighting fixture manufacturing and design company from the country village of Alton in the South of England. For both companies, design and style is a passion as well as a time served heritage which now bring New Orleans flair and British traditions together to create a unique offer in lighting fixtures and lamps. The company opens for business on 11th October with their showroom at the new Light & Design Centre on the 10th Floor in the Dallas World trade Centre and will fully start shipping from late January 2017. We really see now we can bring great new ideas to discerning designers and clients that are looking ever wider options for design and choice.’’ The company also plans to have showroom presence in High Point and Atlanta during 2017 and will launch their full catalogue in January. The new Lucas + McKearn head office, showroom and warehouse facility will be ready in Spring 2017.
