New Boutique Showroom Opens in Baton Rouge

The new Lucas + McKearn head office, warehouse and showroom has moved to 10300 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge (located behind Ethan Allen and next to Habitat Restore). The warehouse facility moved from Georgia to this site in the spring of 2017 and now the boutique style Lighting Showroom has recently been fitted out and is open to the design and build trade as well as local consumers. This lighting showroom displays the full collection as well as offering factory closeout deals and ex trade show display models. Lucas + McKearn offer great trade discounts to registered designers and builders, as well as the opportunity to immediately access stock for tight turnaround projects. About Lucas+ McKearn From a relationship that started in a shared cab in Dallas, January 2009, a new partnership came to fruition in the fall of 2016. Elstead Lighting from the UK, Flambeau Lighting and Gilded Nola of New Orleans, joined forces to create a new business “Lucas + McKearn”. As the name suggests, the partners are Joe McKearn, who has been the well renowned leader at Flambeau Lighting of New Orleans for 17 years and Jonathan & Deborah Lucas, the British husband and wife team that run their near 50 year old lighting fixture manufacturing and design company from the country village of Alton in the South of England. For both companies, design and style is a passion as well as a time served heritage which now bring New Orleans flair and British traditions together to create a unique offer in lighting fixtures and lamps.
